Entry-level process technicians work in Bioprocessing, Pharmaceutical, and Chemical Manufacturing. Biomedical Equipment Technology program prepares individuals to install, operate, troubleshoot, and repair sophisticated devices and instrumentation used in the health care delivery system. Emphasis is placed on preventive and safety inspections to ensure biomedical equipment meets local and national safety standards. They also: -Operate, monitor, and control the production process. -Receive, transport, and store materials. -Collect and analyze materials used in production. -Keep critical records on the process and product.
